Install the free Windows desktop companion and VST3 for FL Studio.
Windows x64 · App + VST3
FruityLoopsCollab
The installer includes the desktop app, VST3 and updater. FL Studio must already be installed.
Save your projects before installing or updating. The installer lists open apps and asks before closing them. Installation waits until FL Studio and every app using the companion or VST files has closed.
Ghost cursors move in X and Y, the Guest’s offset window maps correctly, selections appear and clear, and each collaborator’s playback marker advances. Clips are added, moved, trimmed and deleted in both directions.
Recorded from the real desktop with two independent FL Studio instances on one PC, connected through the production encrypted local connection. Original speed, one continuous excerpt, subtitles included. No audio track.

About the recordings and screenshots
16 original desktop screenshots captured 21 October 2026 show beta 2026.10.19.3. Six FL Studio frames come from the 17 October screen recording: Host on the left, Guest on the right. The video has subtitles and no audio track.
The current beta brings live collaboration, adjustable feedback and the refreshed Project-Z interface together.
01 / CREATE TOGETHER
Live FL 26 edits.
Share supported Playlist clip creation, movement, cropping and removal, piano-roll notes, tempo and native track, pattern, channel and mixer names. Editing support follows the exact FL build.
02 / SEE THE OTHER PERSON
Presence where it belongs.
Named ghost cursors follow both X and Y in the current FL control. Playlist selections, playback markers and interaction feedback stay aligned when the other window sits elsewhere on the screen.
03 / MAKE IT YOURS
Your collaborator’s accent.
Choose the remote collaborator color in app or VST Settings. Use minimal accents, choose which feedback is visible, and adjust opacity and duration.
04 / FOLLOW THE SESSION
Changes you can revisit.
A scrollable session activity log records project changes. Scrollable project and collaborator lists keep longer sessions easier to browse, with saved projects, search and account switching close at hand.
05 / THE PROJECT-Z INTERFACE
Sharper, simpler controls.
Solid surfaces, orange accents and responsive control feedback accompany knobs, min–max controls, drag-to-adjust numbers, vertical sliders and level meters. Shared branding reaches the app, VST, installer and shortcuts.
06 / TEACH AND SHARE
Classroom video and audio.
Share an FL workspace with live video and audio, use classroom chat and manage participants. The current build’s live media path has been checked through socketjack.com.
The desktop app and VST use the Project-Z interface compiled from XAML during the normal build. There is no separate UI conversion step.
The standalone app shows the centered, transparent brand splash only while loading, with orange loading text. The VST opens without a splash.
Remote feedback preferences are saved for the Windows user and apply to both app and VST.
Classroom capture tolerates owned popups that cannot be captured separately. Unexpected encoder exits report a useful error.
The Windows installer includes the app, VST3, updater, file associations and branded shortcuts.
